A Webbing Journey Hits 5M Downloads With Living Room
A Webbing Journey reached five million downloads as Fire Totem Games released the Living Room update, a fourth level adding ten quests on iOS and Android.
Fire Totem Games released the Living Room update for A Webbing Journey on iOS and Android, marking the game’s fourth level the same day the title reached five million downloads. The update adds ten new quests and new areas to explore.
The Living Room places players in a large domestic space rendered from the perspective of Silky, the player-controlled spider. New interactive objects include a playable piano, a large aquarium, a fireplace and a sofa. Quest tasks range from teaching small creatures called shmoops to sing to finding hidden ancient spider paintings in shadowed corners.
The update introduces items such as a spider potion that can be brewed and used in certain quests. Players can grab, move or break hundreds of objects in each level. Quests provide optional goals while leaving room for open-ended play.
A Webbing Journey remains a physics-based sandbox: players can swing and build webs between reachable points, climb any surface including upside down and travel underwater. The game’s mechanics support wide environmental interaction across levels.
Silky’s appearance can be customized with hats, shoes and a fluffiness slider that changes the character’s texture. The game is free to start on mobile devices. Four distinct levels are now available and the developer has said additional levels are planned for future updates.
