Aniimo launches global beta with Crescent Bay and new Aniimos
Aniimo opened a global beta this week, adding Crescent Bay, new social hubs, multiplayer modes and four Aniimos: Saucite, Bubbeep, Popapus and Gachapus.
Pawprint Studios launched a global beta for Aniimo this week. The update introduces Crescent Bay, new social hubs, expanded multiplayer modes and four Aniimo species: Saucite, Bubbeep, Popapus and Gachapus. The test is open to players worldwide.
In Aniimo, players take the role of Pathfinders who collect, care for and transform small creatures called Aniimos. Transformations grant different abilities that affect exploration and in-game activities.
Crescent Bay is a water-themed area added in the beta. The zone includes new environments and points of interest where players can encounter the newly added Aniimos and use their unique transformations to navigate or unlock areas.
The update expands social features around the social hub and the Homeland, locations tied to the game’s life-simulation elements. New activities have been added in those spaces, and the multiplayer modes let players meet and interact in shared areas while they explore.
The four new Aniimo species are available to find and collect during the beta. Each species offers distinct abilities that players can use for exploration and social activities within Crescent Bay and nearby regions.
Pawprint Studios said the global beta windows are intended to test new areas and social systems and to gather player feedback. The studio has not announced a final release date. Players interested in joining the beta are advised to check Aniimo’s official channels for access times and instructions.
The creature-collection genre has seen increased activity among developers. Aniimo presents a life-simulation approach that emphasizes caring for creatures and social gameplay rather than combat or survival mechanics.
