Apple Arcade adds Madden NFL 27, Retro Bowl College+, puzzles

Apple Arcade will add Madden NFL 27+, Retro Bowl College+, Everyday Puzzles+ and Water Sort Puzzle+ to its catalog on August 6, 2026.

The four titles will be available to Apple Arcade subscribers on supported iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV devices without separate purchases.

Retro Bowl College+ adapts the minimalist, arcade-style approach of the Retro Bowl series for college football. The release uses a stripped-back presentation and simplified controls that emphasize core offensive and defensive plays and introduces a Kick Return gameplay mechanic.

Madden NFL 27+ brings the latest entry in the Madden franchise to Apple’s subscription service. The version for Apple Arcade features detailed graphics, multiple gameplay modes and a focus on realistic presentation and simulation options.

Everyday Puzzles+ delivers a daily puzzle package with crosswords, sudoku and word-search puzzles designed for short, repeat play sessions. Water Sort Puzzle+ offers a casual color-arrangement challenge with thousands of levels for players seeking simple, low-pressure puzzles.

Subscribers will be able to download and play the new titles from the Apple Arcade catalog once the update goes live on August 6, 2026. No additional purchases will be required for access through the subscription.

The August 6 update adds mainstream sports and casual puzzle titles to Apple Arcade’s library. The additions follow other recent entries that combine established mobile franchises with repeatable puzzle formats, and reflect ongoing publisher interest in distributing major mobile releases through subscription services.
