Arknights: Endfield 1.4 ‘Homecoming’ adds operators, AIC
GRYPHLINE released Arknights: Endfield Version 1.4 “Homecoming,” concluding the Wuling arc and adding two six-star Operators, new Wuling regions, gas production and new modes.
GRYPHLINE released Arknights: Endfield Version 1.4, titled “Homecoming,” which concludes the long-running Wuling storyline and adds new playable content, systems and activities.
The update returns players to Wuling after improvements to the Xiranite Nexus allow containment of the Blight. New story areas include Yinglung Pass, the entrance to sealed Wuling territory where the Feranmut Proxy Si appears, and the North Wuling Exclusion Zone, an area affected by Blight Miasma that players must clear to open safe routes.
Two new six-star Operators join the roster. Arcane appears as captain of the Yinglung Special Task Force and is the game’s first caster whose combat behavior changes based on the balance between Intellect and Will attributes: an Intellect-oriented setup favors frequent skill use, area damage and corrosion, while a Will-oriented setup emphasizes enemy grouping, stronger debuffs and Arts-inflicting attacks. Liino, the Morning Star of La Fantoma, is an Electric Support Operator with two stances, Vocalist and Cosmovoice, that provide continuous healing, offensive buffs and combo support for teammates.
Industrial gameplay expands through upgrades to the Advanced Industrial Complex system with the addition of Gas as a new material state alongside solids and liquids. Players can produce gaseous resources, convert between gas, liquid and solid forms, unlock new production lines, build new machinery and research new technologies. New materials introduced include Inergen, Xiragen and Pyrrolite Components, and the Xiranflow Cloudseeder Station offers an industrial output option with wider logistics for AIC operations.
Combat content adds new enemy types and bosses. Blightshade creatures appear across reclaimed Wuling areas, and boss fights with Alleikhreos and Chiliarch introduce attacks that must be interrupted to prevent powerful effects.
The update introduces several permanent activities and modes. Echoes of War is a seasonal mode with rotating stages, three difficulty tiers and seasonal ratings. HEAT RAGE! MEGA ARENA! focuses on unconventional two-Operator team pairings. The Rooted Realm is a timed exploration mode featuring hidden paths, secret combat rooms and collection objectives. Additional challenges include Umbral Monument trials and new puzzle maps for the Six Delver content.
Quality-of-life changes include an updated camera system, earlier access to Wuling for new players, fully refined Arsenal Defense Crates from Operator Trials, reduced equipment manufacturing times, expanded Photo Mode, remote retrieval for outdoor equipment, preserved conduit connections in blueprints, increased combat customization and refined targeting controls. Graphics support has been expanded to include DLSS 4.5, PSSR2 and FSR 3.
To mark the game’s six-month anniversary, GRYPHLINE added free rewards. A three-day Tribute of Companionship login pack grants 3,000 Oroberyl, five basic HH Permits and a six-star weapon named Farsight. Mail rewards include 2,000 Oroberyl and development materials. A Fortune Connect-and-Win event offers 14 attempts with a guaranteed minimum payout of 5,000 Oroberyl and additional upgrade materials. Two separate seven-day login events grant five limited HH Permits each.
Version 1.4 delivers new narrative chapters in Wuling alongside expanded systems-level content for production and combat.
