Ubisoft released Title Update 1.0.6 for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, adding a Blowpipe hide toggle, doubling autosave slots to ten and applying gameplay and performance fixes.
Ubisoft released Title Update 1.0.6 for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The update adds a Hide Gear option for Edward Kenway’s Blowpipe in the outfit menu, increases autosave slots from five to ten and applies a range of gameplay, quest and performance fixes. The patch went live on August 4 at 14:00 UTC.
Players can hide the Blowpipe by opening the outfit menu in inventory and selecting Hide Gear. Selecting Show Gear returns the weapon to view. The increase to ten autosave slots lets players load further back in their progress than before.
The update fixes combat and traversal issues, including corrections to leg sweep and rope dart interactions, improvements to enemy behavior in naval battles, and parkour repairs that prevent players from getting stuck while vaulting or climbing. Animation adjustments were applied to assassination sequences and several crash conditions during ground and naval combat were resolved.
On PC, cutscenes that had been locked to 30 FPS when using custom graphics settings should now run at the expected frame rates. Mouse and keyboard handling was improved and missing tutorials and purchase confirmations were restored. Quest tracking updates were also included.
Title Update 1.0.6 addresses world and quest progression problems. Fast travel to unsynced viewpoints no longer causes blockers, and collectible items that previously prevented story progression, such as the Mayan Armor, can now be obtained. Mission scripting and NPC behavior for specific story and side quests were adjusted to avoid soft locks. The pricing of the Kraken wheel cosmetic was corrected.
Visual and audio fixes include resolution of underwater visual glitches, camera corrections during assassinations, improvements to ragdoll and clipping behavior, and fixes for other animation errors. Audio work restored missing sound effects, balanced voice dialogue, and corrected environmental audio bugs.
Patch sizes vary by platform: Xbox Series X|S 15.2 GB, PlayStation 5 5.03 GB, PC via Ubisoft Connect 3.7 GB and Steam 1.8 GB. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is an updated release of the original pirate-era title prepared for modern platforms with graphical and performance updates.
