Baki Hanma: Blood Arena arrives on mobile for Crunchyroll fans

Crunchyroll Games has released Baki Hanma: Blood Arena, a retro-style 2D fighting game for mobile. The title is available now on Android and iOS and is exclusive to Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan members.

The game adapts characters and moments from the Baki franchise into a timing-based arcade brawler. Players control Baki Hanma and face a roster of 12 opponents, each with distinct attack patterns and styles such as boxing, karate, kenpo and underground fighting. Matches take place across five arenas, with Yujiro Hanma appearing as the final boss.

Combat combines classic arcade inputs with timing mechanics. Players must dodge, block at precise moments and strike when openings appear rather than relying on rapid button presses. Baki’s Rage Meter fills during fights and, when activated, lets players perform special moves drawn from the anime. Successful counters create chances for larger attacks, while failed reads leave the player vulnerable.

Blood Arena is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for supported devices. Playing requires an active Crunchyroll Mega or Ultimate Fan membership; the game is restricted to those subscription tiers.

The Baki franchise was created by Keisuke Itagaki and includes multiple manga series and anime adaptations. The franchise has sold more than 100 million copies and has appeared in previous mobile titles such as Baki: King of Souls, Baki THE STRONGEST PROOF and Two Strikes.
