Bandai Namco launches SoulTerra Odyssey in early access

Bandai Namco released SoulTerra Odyssey in early access for Android and iOS in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and the United Kingdom.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has launched SoulTerra Odyssey in early access for Android and iOS. The title is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and the United Kingdom. The company has not provided a timetable for a wider global release. The soft launch allows players to test the game while the developer gathers feedback and adjusts game balance.

SoulTerra Odyssey combines match-3 puzzle mechanics with a real-time battle system, roguelite progression and RPG-style hero development. Players assemble a team of heroes and match tiles to unlock and charge abilities, chain combos and trigger attacks during encounters. Match choices affect which skills become available for each fight.

Runs offer different skill options and item combinations, encouraging players to try multiple attempts. Between encounters, players travel by flying ship to new locations and face progressively tougher opponents. Heroes can be upgraded between runs to prepare for later challenges.

The game includes a roster of distinct characters with unique abilities that interact with the match-driven system. It is presented in portrait orientation and uses a bright art style aimed at mobile screens.

Bandai Namco plans to use the early access period to fine-tune difficulty, balance hero abilities and expand content based on player feedback ahead of a full launch.

Players in the listed regions can download SoulTerra Odyssey from the respective app stores. No further details about a global release window or long-term content roadmap have been shared.
