Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles Arrives on Amazon Luna
Amazon Luna adds Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles on July 31, an 11-episode cooperative detective game for up to four players that streams to TV and is free for Prime subscribers.
Amazon will add Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles to the Luna library on July 31. The title is exclusive to Luna and arrives alongside the second season of the animated series.
The game consists of 11 episodes. Up to four players can join local multiplayer sessions, using their phones as controllers to examine evidence, share clues and solve cases. The story is set in a stylized 1940s noir version of Gotham and emphasizes investigation over combat. Players can team up with characters from the series, including Renee Montoya, to work through separate cases that include puzzles and clues.
Because the game streams from Luna’s cloud service to compatible TVs, players do not need to download or install large files on individual devices. A stable internet connection and a compatible TV are required, and phones act as the input devices for all players. Prime subscribers with access to Luna can play the game at no additional cost.
The release follows a recent increase in games that stream to televisions and let users control play with mobile devices on a single screen. The episodic format aligns with the timing of the show’s new season and provides discrete cases intended for repeated group play.
