Best Kindling Pals in Palworld 1.0

A recent Palworld 1.0 guide identifies Jormuntide Ignis as the top Kindling Pal. The guide places the fire/dragon variant on the eastern coast of Feybreak Island and notes it performs cooking, refining ore into ingots and other heat-based base tasks.

Jormuntide Ignis carries fire elemental suitability in addition to dragon typing, which gives it higher efficiency for Kindling work than the base Jormuntide, whose water/dragon typing does not support those tasks. The guide reports Jormuntide Ignis has no other work suitabilities, allowing players to assign it exclusively to Kindling for focused production.

The guide says Jormuntide Ignis is uncommon in early-game areas, so players may need to advance exploration before locating one. For early bases, the guide recommends Foxparks, which appears shortly after world creation and can be assigned once the cooking pot or the furnace is unlocked. Rooby and Flambelle are offered as additional low-level Kindling options.

For players who want a single Pal to handle multiple tasks, the guide highlights Blazamut. Blazamut combines Kindling suitability with Mining capability, enabling it to harvest nearby ore deposits and then refine those materials without a separate worker.

The guide lists other Kindling-capable Pals, including Pyrin, Suzaku, Leezpunk Ignis and Incineram, and notes regional availability and player level affect where and when they appear. It recommends assigning Pals according to their specific work suitabilities to structure base production.

Palworld is an open-world game by Pocket Pair in which players capture Pals and assign them to tasks via a Paldeck. Using Kindling Pals alongside mining-focused companions can support a passive ore-to-ingot workflow for material accumulation.
