The Blood of Dawnwalker to launch without mini-games, no Denuvo
Rebel Wolves confirmed The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch without in-game mini-games and will not include Denuvo. The open-world vampire action RPG arrives Sept. 3.
Rebel Wolves confirmed The Blood of Dawnwalker will not include in-game mini-games and will launch without Denuvo anti-tamper software. The studio set a Sept. 3 release for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC and has announced the game has gone gold.
The developer answered fan questions and clarified there will be no mini-games. Some players had expected card games or other small side diversions; the studio encouraged exploration of optional activities instead.
Outside the main story, Rebel Wolves pointed to optional content such as monster nests, ancient ruins, bandit camps and hidden treasures for players who want to complete more of the map.
The studio listed several creature types that populate the world, including pixies, uriashi and kobolds, and suggested werewolves may appear alongside vampires. That raises the possibility of large-scale encounters between different factions.
On the technical side, the absence of Denuvo at launch means fewer background anti-piracy processes running on PCs. The developer did not indicate any change to the game’s system requirements. A day-one patch is planned, and the team is exploring free post-launch content.
Bandai Namco Entertainment will publish the game. Rebel Wolves has released teasers and gameplay previews and continues to share information directly through Q&A sessions while keeping some details private to preserve surprises.
In a Q&A the developer wrote: “Discover the surprises for yourself.”
