Bloodless launches on Android Sept. 2, 2026
Indie action-adventure Bloodless launches on Android Sept. 2, 2026, featuring counter-based nonlethal samurai combat starring Ronin Tomoe and a free Trials of Namazu update.
Point N’ Sheep announced that Bloodless will launch on Android on Sept. 2, 2026. The Android release will include a free Trials of Namazu update. Pre-registration is open on the Google Play Store. The developer did not provide a timeline for an iOS release.
Bloodless is a 2D action-adventure that follows Tomoe, a ronin who has sworn not to kill. Tomoe returns to her ruined homeland of Bakugawa to confront the army of her former master, Shogun Akechi. The game centers on counter-based, nonlethal combat in which players use precise timing, bare-fisted counters and Ki techniques to subdue and disarm foes.
Combat emphasizes rhythm and timing. Players can combine Ki abilities, combo variations, Crests and herb infusions to vary approaches to encounters and enemy types.
The Trials of Namazu update adds a roguelike mode called Namazu’s Wrath. That mode places players on a shifting island, where they must fight waves of corruption and navigate changing terrain guided by ancient gods before confronting The Slasher, described by the developer as a physical manifestation of Tomoe’s violent past. The update also adds extra art assets and additional difficulty options.
The mobile build includes touch controls optimized for phones, full controller support and an Assist Mode that offers adjusted difficulty and accessibility options. Visually, the game uses a retro-inspired 2D style and environments intended to support its storyline.
Point N’ Sheep framed the Android launch and Trials of Namazu as a combined release. Players interested in the mobile launch can pre-register on Google Play to receive updates. Further platform plans have not been announced.
