Brawl Stars, Adidas debut Starr Drop Unlocked apparel

Brawl Stars and Adidas released Starr Drop Unlocked, a character-themed line of shoes and streetwear available Aug. 1; an in-game Adidas Starr Cup tournament runs through July 2.
Brawl Stars and Adidas launched Starr Drop Unlocked, a line of character-themed shoes and streetwear aimed at younger players. The collection will be available in stores and on Adidas.com starting Aug. 1. Designs are inspired by game characters including Spike, Leon, Edgar and Nita.
The partnership includes in-game content. Brawl Stars has temporarily altered Brawl Ball into Super Ball, which introduces Keeper Bots and a Charged Shot ability. The Adidas Starr Cup is a two-week in-game tournament running through July 2. Players who progress in the event can earn Adidas-themed skins.
Adidas will feature Brawl Stars at its Home of Soccer fan event on June 20 and 21. The timing of the collection and the in-game events coincides with the World Cup schedule.
Mobile game publishers have increasingly worked with established brands to sell physical merchandise tied to games. Recent tie-ins have expanded beyond digital skins to include apparel and footwear for fans seeking real-world items linked to their games.
No official pricing or a full product list has been released; both companies plan to provide details closer to the Aug. 1 release.
Previously, we reported that Supercell was ordered to redesign Brawl Stars character Sprout in France.
