Cabal Red to hold Thailand closed beta Sept. 29-Oct. 2

Gen Play Company Limited will run a closed beta test for CABAL RED in Thailand from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2. The test will run on mobile and PC and focus on the game’s timing-based combat mechanics.

The trial will concentrate on Combo Skill mechanics, which require precise timing to sustain skill chains and continuous damage. Gen Play plans to use the test to assess combat balance and how players engage the combo and Battle Mode systems, and to collect feedback on combat responsiveness, class balance and multiplayer systems.

Pre-registration is open on Android through the Google Play Store. iOS pre-order availability is expected to be announced later. Gen Play has linked pre-registration milestones to in-game rewards, including a Premium Alz Box and an Elixir Supply Box.

CABAL RED is set on the continent of Nevareth and combines fantasy elements with advanced technology, featuring magic alongside powered armor and vehicles. The game offers multiple playable classes, including Warrior, Force Blader and Wizard, each with distinct progression paths. Players can face dungeons and bosses solo or form parties and guilds to coordinate encounters.

The title uses the Unreal Engine for visuals. CABAL RED is a sequel to CABAL Online and first launched on mobile in South Korea in 2025. The Thailand closed beta will be one of the earliest regional tests of the game’s mechanics outside that initial release.
