Captain Tsubasa: My Golden XI launches on iOS and Android

Captain Tsubasa: My Golden XI is available on iOS and Android, pairing a Monopoly-style board with a simplified football simulation to train characters, build squads and use signature series moves.

Captain Tsubasa: My Golden XI is available now on iOS and Android. The mobile title combines a Monopoly-style board game with a simplified football simulation. Players move across the board to develop character stats, unlock abilities and assign characters to squads for matches.

Gameplay centers on team composition and the timing of signature techniques from the manga and anime. Training occurs at board stops and progression depends on the choices players make on the board and how they allocate training to individual characters. Matches use a simplified simulation engine that highlights cinematic special moves rather than detailed real-time control.

The game presents characters in a chibi, bobblehead art style and compresses training into a series of board-game stops and short match sequences. Developers position the title as a spinoff aimed at fans who want to collect and evolve characters from the series.

The release coincides with the World Cup. My Golden XI joins other recent Captain Tsubasa mobile releases, including Captain Tsubasa Ace, expanding the franchise on smartphones.

My Golden XI is available to download now on both major mobile platforms.
