Cascadou launches on iOS with Freeswap Run mode

Cascadou, a poker-based deck-building roguelike from Machineboy AS, launched on iOS for $4.99 and adds a Freeswap Run mode after its April 14, 2026 PC release.

Machineboy AS, led by Mattis Folkestad, released Cascadou on Apple’s App Store for $4.99 following its April 14, 2026 debut on PC. The iOS version retains the game’s mix of poker hands and domino-style chain reactions and adds Freeswap Run, a mode that lets players reposition cards before committing plays with a four-swap limit per run.

Cascadou uses a standard 52-card deck in a deck-building roguelike format. Each round raises a score target, requiring larger scoring combinations to advance through seven in-game days and a final challenge. Playing one hand can trigger connected hands on the layout, creating combo scores through linked cascades.

The mobile release includes modes from the PC build, such as a Solitaire-like mode and a Chill Mode for relaxed sessions. Optional challenge objectives award badges that permanently strengthen decks. The game features 120 collectible stickers, eight card types, ten badge challenges, and typically 20 rounds plus a final level in some modes.

Touch controls on iOS simplify play: tapping a card will automatically play any connected poker hands to reproduce the domino-effect scoring on a touchscreen. Players can discover special cards with unique abilities during runs and expand decks with collectible stickers and badge unlocks.

Cascadou is available now on the App Store for $4.99. Machineboy AS has not announced an Android release date. The developer previously released smaller award-winning indie titles.
