Case Solved: The London Files arrives on mobile this summer

Case Solved: The London Files will arrive on iOS and Android this summer. The game presents three separate murder investigations set in 1960s London, rendered in hand-drawn 2D and accompanied by a jazz soundtrack.

Players take the role of a detective who must compare witness statements and physical clues to find contradictions and identify the perpetrator. Cases described by the developer include an incident at a concert and a crime near a well-known London clock tower.

Gameplay centers on gathering suspect information, examining environmental evidence and testing alibis. The design prevents resolving cases by forcing confessions: when a player makes an incorrect accusation, the facts in the case do not line up and the player must revisit testimony and clues.

The visual style uses 2D hand-drawn art to depict rainy streets and quiet interiors of 1960s London. The developer describes the tone as cosy noir and pairs the visuals with a smooth jazz score.

A demo for Case Solved: The London Files is available through Steam Next Fest. The full game is planned for PC and will also launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The developer has not provided a firm release date for the mobile edition beyond the summer window.

The developer states the game emphasizes logical deduction over trial-and-error play, requiring players to reconcile conflicting accounts and match alibis to physical evidence to close each case.
