Chants of Sennaar launches on mobile in China Dec. 12
Chants of Sennaar will arrive on Android and iOS in China on Dec. 12, 2026, offering the full game with touch-optimized UI, cloud saves and controller support.
Conscience Studio announced during its 7th Anniversary livestream that Chants of Sennaar will launch on Android and iOS in China on Dec. 12, 2026. The mobile edition is officially licensed by the game’s original developer, Rundisc. Pre-registration is open through the 3839 site.
The release brings the complete puzzle adventure to Chinese mobile storefronts and includes a user interface optimized for touchscreens, cloud save support and external controller compatibility. The version retains all game content while adjusting menus, text layout and interaction flows for smaller screens.
Players take on the role of the Traveler and move through a multi-level Tower where each section contains a distinct civilization with its own spoken and written systems. The gameplay asks players to observe conversations and actions, identify recurring symbols and patterns, form hypotheses about unfamiliar words and test those deductions as they gather more context. Language-based puzzles drive both gameplay and story progression.
Visuals remain hand-drawn and retain influences from Moebius and classic French-Belgian comics. Conscience Studio noted that the mobile edition preserves the original art while adapting interface elements to improve readability and touch input.
This China launch follows the game’s global mobile release in August 2025, which was published by Playdigious. The December release represents a localized and licensed build for Chinese Android and iOS stores and offers the same core puzzles and narrative content as earlier editions.
Conscience Studio described the release as a full port with mobile-focused enhancements and confirmed that all previously released puzzle and narrative content will be included. Pricing details were not announced during the livestream.
