Clash of Clans August update adds TH18 Diggy, Supercharge tiers

Supercell’s August 2026 update adds Diggy pet levels 11–15 for Town Hall 18, new Supercharge tiers for Monolith and Builder’s Hut, retires the Starter Pass and fixes Hero Journey rewards.
Supercell released the August 2026 update for Clash of Clans with new progression for Town Hall 18, adjustments to seasonal passes and multiple fixes to the Hero Journey system. The update began rolling out in August, with additional pass changes entering a test phase in September and not appearing for every account Clash of Clans immediately.
Town Hall 18 players receive new Diggy pet levels 11 through 15. At level 15 Diggy gains an extra 0.5 seconds of stun duration. Two TH18 defenses gain new Supercharge tiers. The Monolith receives two tiers, the first increasing its base damage and the second boosting its hit points; Monolith Supercharge upgrades require Dark Elixir. The Builder’s Hut gains a first Supercharge level that adds 7 damage per second and a second level that increases hit points.
Supercell is retiring the Starter Pass. Players who are already partway through an active Starter Pass can complete it, but the pass will be removed afterward. Season Challenges will begin to unlock from Town Hall 3, and the Gold Pass will become purchasable from Town Hall 3. Season Pass and Gold Pass rewards will scale with a player’s Town Hall level. These pass changes will start as a test in September and may roll out gradually.
Hero Journey received several bug fixes. Reward nodes that remained locked when they should have opened will have missed rewards placed inside the Hero Journey menu in the Hero Hall. Players affected will have seven days to claim those rewards; hero skins placed there will not expire. A visual bug that showed quest tooltips on nodes without actual quests was confirmed to be cosmetic and did not cause players to lose quests. Equipment quest handling was adjusted so that if a player does not own the specific Epic Equipment required, the system will substitute a default Common Equipment piece for the same hero.
Other quality-of-life and balance changes include a redesigned post-battle screen for Home Village fights with a cleaner layout, a new victory banner and clearer presentation of loot and bonus rewards. Clan War League modifiers were adjusted for higher tiers: Titan I will use the Legend II modifier instead of Legend I; Titan II will move from Legend II to Legend III; and Titan III will move from Legend II to Legend III. Ruin Knights summoned by the Ruin Witch will no longer lose health over time, and the Ruin Witch’s summon cap was raised from eight to ten knights.
The August rollout delivers additional progression targets and several fixes and interface updates. Season Challenge and pass changes will enter testing in September and may not appear for all players at the same time.
