Clash of Clans Gold Pass adds Aztec-style Royal Champion skin
Clash of Clans’ August 2026 Gold Pass will feature an Aztec- and Mayan-inspired Royal Champion skin with turquoise-and-gold armor, a feathered headpiece and a crystal-tipped spear.
Supercell plans to include an Aztec- and Mayan-inspired Royal Champion skin as the headline reward in the August 2026 Gold Pass for Clash of Clans. The skin depicts the Royal Champion in turquoise-and-gold armor, a prominent feathered headpiece and a spear with a bright blue, crystal-like blade and gold detailing.
Supercell has not confirmed the August season name or the full reward list. Early information indicates the cosmetic will lead Gold Pass rewards and follows a similar aesthetic direction to the previous season’s Barbarian’s Odyssey content.
The August season is expected to use the revamped progression system with Daily Tasks, Choice Nodes and the Hoggy Bank mechanics. Free reward tiers reportedly include 3,000,000 Gold, 3,000,000 Elixir, 30,000 Dark Elixir, 1,000,000 Builder Gold, 1,000,000 Builder Elixir, 3,000 Capital Gold and at least one Book of Heroes.
Players who purchase the Gold Pass will receive premium perks alongside the Royal Champion skin. Reported premium rewards include multiple potion types, books for heroes, fighting, building and spells, runes for Gold, Elixir and Dark Elixir and for Builder Gold and Elixir, a Shovel of Obstacles, an Auto Forge slot, a Wall Ring and 5,000 Capital Gold. The premium track is also reported to provide request time reductions, up to 20% research and builder boosts, Hoggy Bank and Builder Bank multipliers, a Prospector unlock at 2,200 season points for Town Hall 10 and above, and 1-gem donations.
Supercell has encouraged the use of Creator Codes when purchasing the Gold Pass to support content creators who cover Clash of Clans. The studio has indicated there will be additional themed cosmetics in August, with full confirmation of all rewards and the season title expected with an official announcement later this month.
Supercell has previously used the Gold Pass to introduce hero cosmetics and seasonal content, and the August offering will provide formal details ahead of the season launch.
