Clash of Clans: WWE ‘Search for Cena’ — Sept. 2026
Supercell launched the WWE: Search for Cena season in Clash of Clans from Sept. 1–30, featuring Clan War League, the John Cena Challenge, Money in the Bank Clan Rush and Clan Games.
Supercell has launched the WWE: Search for Cena season in Clash of Clans, running from September 1 through September 30. The update adds a month of timed events, temporary troops and new gameplay options tied to a WWE collaboration.
Clan War League runs from September 1 to September 11, offering 15v15 and 30v30 war formats. Clans competing in CWL can earn Clan War League rewards and League Medals based on performance in those matches.
The John Cena Challenge is available for the full month. Players access the challenge with a Challenge Contract, which can be found inside WWE Chests distributed across events during September. WWE Chests may contain rewards such as Epic Equipment items a player does not yet own and Magic Snacks.
Money in the Bank Clan Rush takes place from September 1 to September 5. Players convert Gold gathered from multiplayer battles, collectors or the Loot Cart into Diamonds for clan contribution. Up to 100 clan members can contribute, and each contributor must add at least one Diamond to qualify for rewards. The event caps at an 850 million Diamond milestone; the top milestone awards the WWE Championship Belt Decoration. A conversion boost on September 5 increases Diamonds gained from Gold. Rewards from the Clan Rush can be collected through September 6.
A new attack mechanic called Battle Options debuts with the season. The first Battle Options window runs alongside the Money in the Bank Clan Rush from September 1 to September 6 and prompts attackers at 33 percent, 66 percent and 100 percent destruction to choose between different effects, such as extra Gold for the Clan Rush or spawning temporary WWE-themed troops. A second Battle Options window runs from September 9 to September 22 and continues to alter attack choices during that period.
Temporary WWE troops are available for the entire season, September 1 to September 30. The roster includes a new Yeti Undertaker unit and returning WWE-themed units listed by Supercell as Kane, Yeta and Giant Giant. Equipment Blast, running September 9 to September 22, highlights these temporary troops and offers additional chances to obtain WWE Chests.
Resource Fest events occur from September 12 to September 14 and again from September 26 to September 28, boosting collector output and bringing the Goblin Builder and Goblin Researcher into the event windows. Clan Games return from September 22 to September 28 with challenge-based tasks that earn points for the clan reward track.
Supercell has not posted any public statement beyond the in-game schedule and event descriptions. The WWE: Search for Cena season ends on September 30, concluding the listed events and rewards for the month.
