Clash Royale July 2026: Ronin Legendary and CHAOS Return

Clash Royale’s July 2026 season adds Ronin, a 5‑Elixir Legendary that reflects melee strikes, revives CHAOS Mode with 15 reworked cards and weekly rotations, and introduces a Choice Chest.

Supercell announced that the July 2026 Clash Royale season centers on Ronin, a new 5‑Elixir Legendary melee troop, and returns CHAOS Mode with a refreshed set of modified cards. The season also adds a new Album Event, a Choice Chest in the daily reward track, and a new TV Royale episode.

Ronin’s core mechanic charges a counterattack stance every few seconds. When the next melee hit lands on him while the stance is active, he reflects that damage back at the attacker with increased damage and briefly stuns the attacker. The card is available through a dedicated unlock event where players complete objectives to gain access. Ronin is featured throughout a four‑week Album Event made up of nine scenes that present the character’s backstory prior to joining the Arena.

The card’s interaction affects certain melee hitters and swarm units. High single‑hit melee attackers such as Mega Knight, P.E.K.K.A., Prince and Mini P.E.K.K.A may trade unfavorably if their strikes are reflected. Cheap swarm units like Skeletons, Goblins and Spirits can trigger Ronin’s counterattack more cheaply, which reduces his effectiveness in those matchups. Ronin’s 5‑Elixir cost and melee role make timing and counters central to how players will use him.

CHAOS Mode returns with 15 new cards that each receive unique modifiers and with 15 older modifier‑equipped cards removed from the mode. Some cards from the first CHAOS season will reappear with updated modifiers. The CHAOS card pool will rotate weekly during July, a change Supercell says is intended to keep match conditions varied and encourage new deck choices.

The Choice Chest joins the daily reward track and lets players select a preferred reward from that chest’s pool. Supercell has not published the full list of possible rewards. The July rollout also includes unspecified gameplay updates tied to the season and a new TV Royale episode showcasing highlights and features.

The July season will go live in July 2026 as part of Clash Royale’s regular seasonal cycle, with Ronin’s unlock event, the Album Event, CHAOS Mode rotations and the updated daily rewards available during the month.
