Clash Royale League Season 5 starts July — Golden Ticket awaits

Clash Royale League Season 5 begins July 6, 2026. The champion earns a Golden Ticket to the World Finals and a share of a $51,400 prize pool, including $14,000 for first place.
Supercell will hold Clash Royale League Season 5 in July and August 2026, with one player earning a direct spot at the World Finals via a Golden Ticket. The event opens with an in-game ranked ladder on July 6 and concludes with a monthly final in late August.
The ranked ladder runs from July 6 and uses single-game, best-of-one 1v1 matches. The top 1,500 players from the ladder advance to the next stage of qualifiers.
Monthly qualifiers take place on August 15 and 16. Competitors will play nine rounds across those two days to determine the top 64 players who move on to the group stage.
On the second day of qualifying, the 64 advancing players are divided into eight groups of eight for a round-robin group stage. All matches in the qualifiers and group stage are best-of-three manual duels. The top two players from each group advance to the monthly final.
The monthly final is scheduled for August 22–23 and features 16 players in a double-elimination bracket. Most matches in the monthly final are best-of-three; the Upper Bracket Final, Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are best-of-five manual duels. The monthly final winner receives the Golden Ticket and direct entry to the World Finals.
The total prize pool for this qualifier is $51,400. The champion receives $14,000 plus the World Finals ticket. The runner-up gets $8,000; third place $6,000; fourth place $4,000. Fifth and sixth receive $2,000 each; seventh and eighth receive $1,500 each. Placings ninth through twelfth receive $1,000 each; thirteenth through sixteenth receive $500 each; seventeenth through twenty-fourth receive $200 each; twenty-fifth through fortieth receive $150 each; and forty-first through sixty-fourth receive $100 each.

Participant rosters for Season 5 have not been finalized. Not all open qualifier matches will be available to watch; coverage will concentrate on the monthly finals and later stages. Fans can follow Supercell’s official social channels for live broadcasts and updates.
Season 5 forms part of the final competitive phase of Clash Royale for 2026 and provides an open qualifier route that awards a single direct qualification slot to the World Finals.
