COD Mobile Season 6 adds Persona 5 Royal crossover

COD Mobile Season 6 ‘Take Your Heart’ launches July 1, 2026, featuring a Persona 5 Royal crossover and a new 5v5 Multiplayer mode called Throwable Frenzy.

Activision will launch Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6, titled “Take Your Heart,” on July 1, 2026. The update brings a Persona 5 Royal crossover and a new 5v5 Multiplayer mode called Throwable Frenzy to the mobile shooter.

Plunder receives a Persona 5 Royal-themed variant called Plunder Treasure Hunt. On the Isolated map, large red spheres mark Domains where squads must find a treasure chest and survive three waves of Shadow enemies while contesting other teams. Completing a Domain grants in-match cash and Persona masks that provide bonuses for the duration of the match.

Throwable Frenzy is a new 5v5 Multiplayer mode centered on Combat Axes. Traditional Loadouts and Scorestreaks are removed; players choose pre-match buffs and use thrown axes to hit randomly spawning targets across the map while also eliminating opponents to slow the other team. The side with the higher score when the timer ends wins the match.

Season 6 resets Ranked play and adds new rewards. Multiplayer Ranked players can earn the SO-14 — Onyx Wrath weapon blueprint by advancing through ranks. Battle Royale competitors can unlock the Enigma — Zavesa Operator skin by progressing through BR tiers.

A dedicated Persona 5 Royal event area includes shooting galleries inspired by several Palaces from the JRPG. Players can complete challenges and milestone tasks to earn Persona-themed cosmetics, weapon rewards, calling cards, charms, and a Nuclear Strike customization option.

The free Battle Pass for the season adds the FSS Hurricane SMG for close-range combat and the VTOL Jet Scorestreak, which launches an opening missile barrage then hovers to engage nearby enemies. The Premium Battle Pass includes new Operator skins, such as High Priest of Chaos — Judgement and Kryptis — Refraction, along with weapon blueprints like the CX9 — Custos Sanguinis and FSS Hurricane — Shattered Reflection. Ground Forces subscribers will receive Nova — Lion’s Might, FAL — A Shadow in Red, and Backpack — A Shadow in Red as part of their subscription benefits.

A Challenge Pass lets players complete Standard, Special, and Elite missions to earn Tokens that can be exchanged for seasonal items. Notable Challenge Pass rewards include the 3-Line Rifle — Variegated Corrosion blueprint, a Mission Debrief weapon camo, and the Newtonian weapon charm.

The in-game store updates with a Mythic draw for the FSS Hurricane — Shadow Skyline weapon blueprint and items such as the Samael — Hollow Regent Operator skin, Tactical Melee — Spectral Spike, and Holger 26 — Shadow and Shade.

The Persona 5 Royal Operator Series Armory adds playable Operator skins modeled on characters from the JRPG, including Cipher — Joker, Scylla — Panther, Alias — Queen, and Urban Tracker — Violet. These Operators include custom lobby entrances, themed menus and animations, and collection rewards such as the Legendary ORV — Morgana vehicle skin and a Mythic animated calling card.

The Weapon Series Armory introduces four Legendary weapon blueprints inspired by Persona 5 Royal: LK24 — Arsène, QQ9 — Carmen, Type 63 — Johanna, and RAM-7 — Cendrillon. Each blueprint features unique elimination effects and evolving visuals during matches.

Season 6 also launches a summer event with rewards that include Urban Tracker — Summer Sunrise and the M16 — Sparkling Citrus blueprint. Other seasonal activities will distribute additional cosmetics and weapon blueprints, including a Secret Cache weapon and the Legendary MG42 — High Octane.

The Season 6 update for Call of Duty: Mobile goes live on July 1, 2026, and delivers the Persona 5 Royal crossover content, the new Throwable Frenzy mode, updated Ranked rewards, and new Battle Pass and store items.
