CookieRun Classic launches worldwide on iOS and Android

Devsisters released CookieRun Classic worldwide today on Android and iOS. The title was announced for global release at DevNow 2026 and opened pre-registration earlier this month.

Devsisters released CookieRun Classic to global mobile stores today, making the original CookieRun running game available on Android and iOS outside South Korea. The studio revealed the worldwide release plan during DevNow 2026 and opened pre-registration earlier this month.

CookieRun Classic recreates the series’ first running adventure. Players guide Cookie characters through the Witch’s Oven, jumping, sliding and dodging obstacles while collecting Jellies. The mobile release includes exclusive and legacy Cookies, companion Pets, real-time competitions, time-limited events and temporary buffs. Players can upgrade Treasures and combine items to improve runs.

The game’s progression centers on short, replayable runs. Advancement depends on collecting Cookies and Pets, upgrading Treasures and chasing higher scores and league ranks. Real-time League play lets users compete against players worldwide. The launch includes newcomer events and bonuses to assist early progression.

The roster features characters inspired by Korean culture and cuisine, a detail Devsisters highlighted as unique to this entry. Event rotations and additional modes will add temporary content and in-game rewards while preserving core mechanics from earlier releases.

CookieRun Classic is available now on the Google Play Store and the App Store. Players can download the game and join ongoing events and League competitions through the in-game menu.
