Cowboy Bebop joins WWE Champions in weeklong crossover

WWE Champions launched a limited-time Cowboy Bebop crossover, Bounty by Moonlight, running through Oct. 4. Bebop-themed gear is available now and Spike arrives in-game on Oct. 2.
WWE Champions, the mobile match-3 role-playing game, is hosting a limited-time crossover called Bounty by Moonlight on iOS and Android. The event runs through Oct. 4 and adds Cowboy Bebop-themed cosmetic items and animations to the roster.
The event lets players equip current and legacy WWE Superstars with outfits and animation packages based on Cowboy Bebop characters. Costumes change character appearance, entrance and victory animations, and reskin finishers. Examples include Bray Wyatt wearing Jet Black’s outfit and Sol Ruca appearing in Faye Valentine’s yellow costume.
Spike Spiegel joins the crossover on Oct. 2 and is represented through Trick Williams wearing Spike’s dishevelled suit. The in-game finisher associated with the suit is the Trick Shot. Players who enter the code COWBOY receive Trick Williams as a 5-Star Bronze character before the suit becomes available.
WWE Champions implements the crossover through cosmetic gear and animation packages; the underlying match-3 combat system and core gameplay remain unchanged. The game has been live for nearly a decade.
The crossover content and the promotional Trick Williams character are available only during the event window. WWE Champions is free to download and play on iOS and Android, and the themed gear and animations will be removed when the event ends on Oct. 4.
