Crossy Road Rush is now available on Apple Arcade. Developed by Hipster Whale, the game reworks the series’ Frogger-style lane-crossing gameplay as an endless runner.
Players control Crossy Road characters running along roads and avoid obstacles by moving from side to side. Unlike the original game, which focused on crossing lanes, Crossy Road Rush uses forward movement and faster reflex-based play.
The game includes 50 handmade levels, local co-op and online multiplayer. Players can complete levels with friends or compete against them. Daily challenges provide additional tasks beyond the main levels.
Crossy Road Rush is Hipster Whale’s first game in the endless-runner genre. It retains the blocky visual style of Crossy Road while using a format based on speed, obstacle avoidance and repeated runs.
The original Crossy Road adapted the basic Frogger concept by requiring players to guide characters across roads and other hazards. Crossy Road Rush keeps the same character-focused setting but changes the direction and pace of play.
