Dave the Diver pre-registration opens on iOS and Android

Mintrocket opened pre-registration for Dave the Diver on iOS and Android, targeting an August release and offering a free-to-try mobile port of the PC game.
Mintrocket has opened pre-registration for Dave the Diver on iOS and Android, with the studio targeting an August release. The pre-registration lets players try the opening sections of the game for free before choosing whether to buy the full version.
The mobile edition will be distributed through the App Store and Google Play. Mintrocket describes the build as a full port of the PC game and plans to retain the original look and layout; available screenshots show the same aspect ratio and detailed visuals as the PC release.
Dave the Diver follows a diver who harvests seafood and other items from the Blue Hole to supply Bancho’s sushi restaurant. Gameplay alternates between underwater exploration and combat and restaurant service minigames where players prepare and serve orders under time pressure.
On mobile, the title will use a free-to-try model that allows access to the opening content without payment, with an option to purchase the full game later. Mintrocket has not released final pricing for the complete mobile version.
The game previously launched on mobile in China as a premium release. On PC and consoles, Dave the Diver combines action, resource management and time-based service gameplay. Mintrocket plans to preserve those core mechanics in the mobile edition.
Players can register now on iOS and Android to receive updates and availability notifications. The studio provided August as the target month for launch but did not give exact release dates or a schedule for region-specific rollouts.
