Diceomancer Brings Dice Mechanics to Roguelike Deckbuilding
Diceomancer, a roguelike deckbuilder for iOS and Android, is planned for 2027. Its dice can change enemy stats, card effects and random events in turn-based combat.
Diceomancer follows an adventurer whose fishing trip goes wrong. The game will feature battles across multiple environments, with combat presented from a first-person perspective and played in turns.
Players will collect cards for attacks, spells and other effects. Magical six-sided dice can change game attributes, including an enemy’s health and mana or the strength of a card.
Dice results may improve weaker cards or change the conditions of a battle. The game will also include occasional 20-sided dice checks. Each check can produce a positive or negative result that affects the player’s run.
Diceomancer is planned to include multiple character classes, several mana types, more than 500 cards and 200 relics. The game is scheduled to arrive on iOS and Android in 2027. Further details about its release and gameplay have not been announced.
