Digimon Up launches on iOS and Android with free rewards
Digimon Up is now available on iOS and Android. Players who pre-registered can claim free monsters and characters including Gekkomon, Numemon, Agumon and Tai Kamiya.
Digimon Up launched on iOS and Android. The mobile title focuses on caring for, training and battling with a single partner Digimon.
Players select one Digimon to raise and can customise its evolution path and ability growth. Battles are part of progression, while core activities include feeding, training and managing your creature’s development.
Developers adapted the game for mobile play. An auto-progression feature allows Digimon to gain experience and develop while the app is closed, combining active interaction with passive growth.
Players who pre-registered before launch can claim in-game rewards. The listed pre-registration rewards include the monsters Gekkomon and Numemon, the series staple Agumon and the character Tai Kamiya. Eligible accounts should be able to redeem these items now.
Digimon began in the 1990s as a virtual pet concept with care mechanics similar to Tamagotchi. That origin is reflected in Digimon Up’s focus on a single companion rather than on collecting a large roster of creatures.
