Discounty supermarket sim opens Android pre-registration
Discounty, a supermarket management sim with town life mechanics, has opened pre-registration on Google Play for Android.
Discounty places players in charge of a small supermarket in the harbor town of Blomkest after the player’s aunt asks for help. Players manage stocking, serving customers, cleaning, inventory and negotiating trade deals. Pre-registration for the Android version is open on Google Play.
Gameplay alternates between store shifts and town exploration. During shifts players restock items, manage shelf space and respond to customer requests. Exploration segments let players accept trade offers, meet residents and sell locally produced goods at the supermarket.
Player choices affect relationships with residents and the development of trade arrangements. The developer describes some story elements as ‘strange happenings’ in the community.
Visuals use retro-inspired pixel art with bright colors and detailed environments. The game presents an indie-style look and focuses on the operational work of running a budget supermarket.
Discounty is available on PC and holds a Very Positive rating on Steam. The developer has not announced an Android release date beyond the pre-registration period and has not confirmed plans for an iOS version.
