DIY Dadish launches on mobile with level editor
Thomas K Young released DIY Dadish for Android and iOS, a platformer that lets players design and share levels using more than 100 objects, 15 themes and 12 playable characters.
Developer Thomas K Young has released DIY Dadish on Android and iOS. The app combines a side-scrolling platformer with a level editor that lets players design and share custom stages. The editor includes more than 100 placeable objects, 15 visual themes and 12 playable characters.
The editor is designed to be accessible to younger players while offering options for more experienced creators. Users can place hazards such as spikes and saws, interactive items including soda cans, and enemy types like hostile hamburgers. Creators can write dialogue lines for Dadish and his children to add narrative or humor to levels.
Completed levels can be uploaded to an online hub where others can download and play them. Players can browse community-made courses and share levels with friends. Shared content is user-generated and will vary in design and difficulty.
DIY Dadish follows Young’s earlier platforming releases, including Dadish 2 and Dunkadillo. The release is presented as a mobile-focused entry in the Dadish series.
DIY Dadish is available now on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
