Dogpile brings dog-merging roguelike to iOS and Android

Studio Folly and Toot Games confirmed Dogpile, a Suika-style roguelike deckbuilder, is coming to iOS and Android; the PC version is already available.

Studio Folly and Toot Games confirmed that Dogpile, a Suika-style roguelike deckbuilder, will be released on iOS and Android. The title first appeared on PC and features token-merging puzzle play combined with deckbuilding elements.

In each run, players drop dog tokens into a pile and merge matching sizes to form larger dogs. Alongside spatial merging, players collect and modify a deck of traits and tags. Those traits and tags change how dogs score and how they interact during a run.

The game’s scoring depends on both placement and deck choices. Tags attached to dogs influence point values and can combine with other traits to increase scores. Developers say the trait system directs gameplay toward optimizing score patterns over multiple runs.

Dogpile’s presentation uses a minimalist, colorful art style. Breed silhouettes and clear visual feedback indicate merges and progression. The design highlights larger dog forms as players combine tokens and aims to keep the playfield readable on small screens.

Studio Folly and Toot Games have confirmed mobile ports are in development but did not provide a release date or list digital storefronts. The PC edition remains available while the teams prepare the iOS and Android versions.

The title follows a recent pattern of deckbuilding roguelikes appearing on mobile. The format pairs brief puzzle sessions with metagame progression and uses repeated runs to refine decks and scoring approaches.

Players interested in Dogpile can access the PC release now and await a formal announcement for the mobile release window and pricing.
