Dome Keeper brings mining and defense to iOS and Android

Dome Keeper, a roguelike mining and defense game from bippinbits and Raw Fury, is now available on iOS and Android for $9.99.

Dome Keeper is now available on the App Store and Google Play for $9.99. The mobile release brings the game’s mining and defense gameplay to smartphones and tablets for the first time. It previously launched on PC and consoles.

Players control a keeper stationed inside a dome on an alien planet. Between waves of monster attacks, they use a drill to tunnel through procedurally generated underground areas and collect resources and relics.

Players can spend the resources on stronger dome defenses, drill upgrades, increased movement speed and gadgets. When an attack begins, the keeper operates the dome’s weapons against monsters approaching from the ground and air.

Timing is a central part of each run. Digging deeper can produce better resources, while staying underground too long can prevent the keeper from reaching the dome before the next wave. Procedurally generated maps change the layout and available resources in each game.

The game includes two keeper types, four domes and four primary gadgets. Players can find dozens of secondary gadgets during runs. Difficulty settings and run modifiers provide additional ways to change the gameplay.
