KillHouse Games has opened Android pre-registration for Door Kickers 2, bringing the real-time tactical strategy game closer to its mobile release. The developer has not announced launch dates for Android or iOS.
Players can pre-register through the Google Play Store. According to developer Pintea, the mobile version is already running on Android, but its user interface still requires major changes before release.
Door Kickers 2 puts players in command of Special Operations units during hostage rescues, counterterrorism missions and raids in the fictional Middle Eastern country of Nowheraki. The game uses a top-down view and runs in real time. Players can pause the action at any point to issue orders and change their plans.
Missions include threats such as suicide bombers, improvised explosive devices and rocket-propelled grenades. Units can use equipment including light machine guns and specialized goggles. Destructible environments let players break through walls and create alternate routes.
Players can form squads from units such as U.S. Army Rangers. Each unit has different equipment, abilities and combat styles. The game includes handcrafted Operations and longer, procedurally generated Tours of Duty. An optional Iron Man mode gives fallen soldiers permanent consequences.
Door Kickers 2 launched on PC in February 2025. KillHouse Games confirmed plans for Android and iOS versions in 2025, but has not provided a specific mobile release date.
