Dplus KIA, Gen.G Reach Worlds 2026 Playoffs First

Dplus KIA and Gen.G secured playoff berths at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship during the Swiss Stage. They were the first teams to qualify for the knockout stage.

Both teams advanced after reaching the required Swiss Stage record. The remaining teams will compete for the other playoff places.

Peak viewership during the Swiss Stage reached 1.83 million, the tournament’s highest reported audience figure so far. The measure counts the largest number of viewers watching at the same time.

The Swiss Stage pairs teams with the same win-loss records. Teams that reach the required number of wins advance, while teams that reach the elimination mark leave the tournament. Dplus KIA and Gen.G were the first teams to meet the qualification requirement at Worlds 2026.
