Dragonfire adds weekly tie-ins for House of the Dragon season 3

Dragonfire will release episode-linked updates and a watch-along feature giving players in-game rewards weekly as House of the Dragon season three airs.

Game of Thrones: Dragonfire will add new content tied to each episode of House of the Dragon season three, with updates released on Mondays after each episode airs.

The developers announced each weekly update will include new story material, limited-time events and exclusive in-game rewards that reflect scenes and characters from the most recent episode.

A watch-along feature will let players claim extra rewards by playing Dragonfire while tuning into the broadcast of House of the Dragon.

The first content drop referenced the Battle of the Gullet and added Triarchy raider encounters. The second update centers on Rhaenyra Targaryen and includes challenges and prizes themed to her efforts to restore her rule.

Updates will be distributed through the free-to-play mobile game, which combines card-battling mechanics with strategy elements. Players can access the new material through the game’s normal update process.

The development team coordinated the release schedule with the show’s airing calendar so game events mirror narrative beats from each episode.

Further weekly drops are planned for the remainder of the season. The teams said updates will continue to arrive while new episodes broadcast.
