Drop Duchy heads to Android; pre-registration open
Doghowl Games Ltd has opened Google Play pre-registration for Drop Duchy, the Sleepy Mill Studio roguelite first released on Steam in 2025; no Android release date announced.
Doghowl Games Ltd announced that Drop Duchy will arrive on Android and opened pre-registration on the Google Play Store. The game was developed by Sleepy Mill Studio and first released on Steam in 2025. The title won awards after its Steam release. Doghowl is handling the mobile launch and has not provided a firm Android release date or a date for an iOS version.
Drop Duchy adapts a geometric block-stacking system into a strategy-focused roguelite. Players place blocks of different shapes and types to build a settlement instead of merely clearing lines. The game combines puzzle mechanics with deckbuilding and roguelite progression: players collect resources, defend a castle and field an army during procedurally varied runs.
Each run presents a new map where tiles can be placed across forests, rivers and plains. Placement and positioning affect outcomes: forming lines and adding structures grants bonuses and generates resources that can be spent on recruiting and upgrading troops. Between battles, players choose branching routes and make decisions that influence encounters.
The deckbuilding system includes more than 110 unique cards that add structures, upgrades and modifiers. The game features market and guild trading mechanics, systems for improving decks and a meta-progression layer that tracks long-term growth. There are three playable factions with intertwined missions, ranks and exclusive quests.
Pre-registration on Google Play is live for users who want early access notifications ahead of the Android release.
