EA Sports FC 27: 21,000+ licensed players, 800+ teams

EA Sports FC 27 will launch Sept. 25 with more than 21,000 licensed players across over 800 clubs and national teams, plus 35+ leagues and about 140 stadiums.

EA Sports confirmed licensing details ahead of the game’s Sept. 25 release. The publisher reported the title will include more than 21,000 licensed players across over 800 clubs and national teams, alongside more than 35 leagues and about 140 stadiums.

The publisher reported full licensing for major UEFA club competitions and CONMEBOL’s Copa Libertadores. The Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League are included, together with the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

New entries for the 2026–27 season include S.S. Lazio as the 18th Serie A team in the game’s lineup and Mexico’s Liga MX, appearing in the franchise for the first time. EA expanded the stadium roster to reflect promotions and competition changes among clubs.

Six stadiums join the venue list: Louis II (AS Monaco), Estadio Carlos Tartiere (Real Oviedo), Legia Warsaw Municipal Stadium, Portman Road (Ipswich Town), MKM Stadium (Hull City) and CBS Arena (Coventry City). Stadiums belonging to clubs promoted to the Premier League this season are included to represent those fixtures more accurately.

Licensing covers competitions, stadiums and national teams for use across career, club and tournament modes. The developer highlighted licensed content across both men’s and women’s competitions.

The game will release on Sept. 25. EA provided these licensing details to inform players ahead of the new installment.
