EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Plus priced at $149.99

EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Plus will retail for $149.99, more than double the $69.99 standard edition and the priciest standalone EA edition to date.

Electronic Arts has set the price for the EA Sports FC 27 Ultimate Plus Edition at $149.99. That is higher than the standard edition, which retails for $69.99, and makes Ultimate Plus the most expensive standalone edition EA has offered for a single title.

EA detailed the Ultimate Plus contents, which are focused on Ultimate Team rewards and early access rather than gameplay changes. The edition includes an 85+ overall Icon, a Premium Pass covering Seasons 1 through 5, up to seven days of early access, a Hall of FUT Player Pick and 10,000 FC Points delivered across five months. EA’s list of additional items includes an extra player evolution slot, 2x AXP boosts, exclusive pre-order challenges, three Icons or Heroes, an additional Manager Live challenge slot and a Player Evolution reward for owners of EA Sports FC 26.

The Deluxe Edition includes a Premium Pass limited to Season 1, 6,000 FC Points over three months and fewer exclusive extras. The standard edition does not include any Premium Pass or bundled FC Points and is priced at $69.99.

EA requires that the Ultimate Plus Edition be purchased by August 31 for buyers to receive all advertised bonuses. Players have compared the $149.99 price to last year’s MVP Bundle+, which bundled two EA titles at a similar price point.

EA has confirmed the release of EA Sports FC 27 and has not published extensive details about gameplay changes. Public discussion ahead of the title’s release has focused on edition pricing and the content packaged with premium versions.

EA Sports FC 27 is scheduled to launch later this year on major platforms. The Ultimate Plus pack groups multiple season passes and scheduled FC Point deliveries into a single premium edition, while lower-priced tiers offer reduced bundles of rewards.
