eFootball 2027 v6.0.1 adds Nigeria Epics, fixes bugs
Konami released eFootball 2027 v6.0.1, introducing Epic Jay-Jay Okocha and Epic Tijani Babangida and fixing KONAMI ID linking and Custom Tournament notification issues.
Konami has released eFootball 2027 version 6.0.1. The patch, described by Konami as the first update after the v6.0 season rollout, adds two Nigeria Epic cards and addresses several problems introduced with v6.0.
Epic Jay-Jay Okocha debuts as an attacking midfielder (AMF) with Momentum Dribbling, Phenomenal Pass and Magnetic Feet. Epic Tijani Babangida appears as a right-wing forward (RWF) with Attacking Surge and Acceleration Burst. Nwankwo Kanu is included in the Nigeria Epic pack; his card lists Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header but he is not new to the game.
The Nigeria Epic pack is offered as a 150-player box. Konami also launched a Starter Set featuring Epic Iker Casillas, available across all regions for $2.99. The one-time campaign purchase includes Epic Casillas, 100 eFootball Coins and three Highlight players, with items delivered through the in-game Inbox.
Konami previewed the next Epic drop, scheduled for Monday, which highlights three Italian defensive players. Paolo Maldini will appear as a centre back with Aerial Fort and Long-Reach Tackle ST. Fabio Cannavaro will be issued in a Destroyer variant with Aerial Fort and Shadow Hunt. Alessandro Nesta will arrive with Fortress, Aerial Fort and Long-Reach Tackle.
On the technical side, v6.0.1 fixes a KONAMI ID linking error that caused the game to close on some devices when the title opened an external browser for parental authentication and encountered insufficient memory. The update lets the linking process complete even if the app terminates during the external browser step. The patch also resolves an issue that prevented some players from receiving Custom Tournament progress notifications.
Players who install the patch should see the corrected behavior and can claim purchased Starter Set items via the in-game Inbox.
