Embracer Confirms Next Kingdom Come Game for FY 2027/28

Embracer included the next Kingdom Come game in its fiscal planning during an investor presentation, listing the title for release in fiscal year 2027/28. The company did not name a specific calendar date.

Embracer CEO Phil Rogers told investors: “From FY 27, we expect the release of the next game in the Kingdom Come franchise from Warhorse Studios.” The referenced fiscal year covers April 2027 through March 2028.

The fiscal-year window is a corporate planning target rather than a firm ship date. Projects that are still in development can be delayed, and publishers sometimes move releases out of their initially announced fiscal windows.

Warhorse Studios has not announced the title or confirmed platforms for the next mainline Kingdom Come game. Both Kingdom Come: Deliverance and its sequel previously launched in February, but no month has been set for the upcoming entry.

Warhorse invested several years developing the technology and assets used for its recent work. Development teams can reuse engines, tools and assets from earlier projects when building subsequent titles.

Embracer’s fiscal-year note is the clearest public timing the company has provided so far. Further details on platforms, scope and an exact release date are expected as Warhorse and Embracer move toward formal announcements and marketing.
