Epic Games Store free games: I Have No Mouth & River City Girls 2

Epic Games Store will let users claim two free games — I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream and River City Girls 2 — from July 2 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST / 5pm CEST until the same time on July 9. Both titles become permanent additions to a user’s library once claimed.

I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream is a point-and-click adventure adapted from Harlan Ellison’s 1967 short story. Players control five survivors who face psychological torment imposed by a supercomputer named AM. Nightdive Studios re-released the game in 2013.

River City Girls 2, developed by WayForward, is a side-scrolling beat-’em-up featuring pixel-art graphics and a licensed soundtrack. The game offers six playable characters, support for up to four-player cooperative play locally or online, larger environments than its predecessor, expanded combat mechanics, and numerous non-player characters.

The giveaway is part of the Epic Games Store’s weekly free-game rotation. The titles are available only during the listed week; users must claim them before the offer ends to retain them permanently.
