Eight teams advance to the Esports World Cup 2026 Dota 2 playoffs to compete for a share of the $2 million prize pool. The single-elimination bracket opens July 16. All matches through the semifinals are best-of-three, and the Grand Final is a best-of-five.

Team Yandex reached five major international finals since December 2025 and won three titles: DreamLeague Season 27, PGL Wallachia Season 7 and BLAST Slam VII. PVISION has claimed three tournament wins so far in 2026. Team Falcons enter the bracket as the reigning International champion, though they have not reached a major international final in more than six months.

Team Spirit is the defending Esports World Cup 2025 winner. The team has shown uneven results this season. Team Yandex holds a 5-0 record in their last five head-to-head matches against Team Spirit.

BB Team won PGL Wallachia Season 8 but recorded an early exit at ESL One Birmingham 2026. The roster has produced both strong tournament finishes and abrupt collapses at major events.

Nigma Galaxy finished top of its group but has had multiple roster changes and inconsistent results. Vici Gaming has a long history in the scene and continues to post strong regional results, but recent international tournament results have been limited. Rune Eaters reached the final eight after upsets of Virtus.pro and Aurora Gaming in the Survival Stage.

Quarterfinal matches are scheduled over two days. On July 16 at 13:00 CET, Nigma Galaxy faces BB Team. Later that day at 16:30 CET, Team Falcons meet Vici Gaming. On July 17 at 13:00 CET, Team Yandex plays Team Spirit, and at 16:30 CET PVISION faces Rune Eaters.
