Exodus Reveals Redesigned Male Jun Aslan After Player Feedback
Archetype Entertainment has revealed an updated male Jun Aslan model for Exodus after months of player feedback, with a younger face, new hair and redesigned armor.
Archetype Entertainment released a video on Oct. 23 showing the redesigned male Jun Aslan, the protagonist of its science-fiction role-playing game Exodus.
Studio head Chad Robertson addressed the community at the start of the video. He explained that the team had followed months of discussion about Jun’s original appearance and had continued refining the character during development.
The original model had a beard, a heavier face and a rugged appearance. Jun wore a bright orange-and-white suit with a transparent bubble helmet.
The updated model has sharper features, longer hair swept back from his face and a clean-shaven look. His new equipment includes muted olive armor, a scarf and a more enclosed helmet.
The video includes several short in-engine scenes featuring the revised character. In one scene, the character played by Matthew McConaughey greets Jun and says the team has been watching him. Jun is then warned that it is his last chance to withdraw before he introduces himself.
Exodus is scheduled for release on April 7, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam. Archetype Entertainment announced the release date at Gamescom earlier this year.
