Fabledom city-builder opens Android pre-registration

Grenaa Games developed Fabledom and Dear Villagers is publishing the Android edition. Pre-registration opened on Google Play; the companies did not give a release date beyond that announcement.

Fabledom places players in charge of a small settlement they expand into a kingdom. Players manage resources, build structures, and tend to citizens. The game features six rulers with whom players can form relationships, complete quests, and unlock unique buildings.

Economic systems include resource management and trade with neighbouring kingdoms. Players can build optional structures such as a Mystic Mine to increase income; those structures may attract hostile attention from trolls.

Combat and defence are limited in scope. Players can raise an army and field a hero to defend against trolls and other threats that appear as the kingdom grows. The game mixes base-building with light strategy and quest-driven narrative and is paced for slower play rather than fast action.

Fabledom first released on PC and consoles in 2024 and developed a steady player base based on its art style and accessible mechanics. The Android edition aims to retain core systems while adapting the interface for touch controls.

The game shares systems found in titles such as The Settlers, Foundation, and Kingdoms and Castles, including resource chains and settlement expansion within a fairytale setting and relationship-driven quests.

Pre-registration is available through the Android storefront. The publisher has not released details on pricing, monetization, or an iOS release. Players who pre-register on Google Play will receive updates and availability alerts from the publisher.
