Fantasy Online 2 launches on Android with cross-play

Pixel Games LLC’s 2D pixel MMORPG Fantasy Online 2 launched on Android, offering cross-play with Steam Early Access and browser builds, manual combat and shared account progression.

Pixel Games LLC has released Fantasy Online 2 on Android, making the 2D pixel MMORPG available through the Google Play Store. The game supports cross-play with a paid Steam Early Access build and a browser version, with developer Jeromy Stroh listing an iOS release as forthcoming.

All three versions connect to the same servers and use shared account, character and progression data. Items, completed quests and character progress carry across platforms when players sign in to the same account.

The title emphasizes manual combat rather than autoplay. Players control fights directly, use active skills and equipment to shape roles, engage bosses alone or in groups, and hunt for rare drops to refine builds.

Fantasy Online 2 features 32 handcrafted zones populated with nonplayer characters, monsters, hidden areas and bosses. The studio lists 568 quests available to complete, along with collectible cosmetics and equipment sets.

The game includes a player-driven economy that permits trading between users. Pixel Games LLC maintains a public database documenting 3,091 items and entries for quests, enemies, recipes, shops, skills and zones to support player planning.

The Steam version remains a paid Early Access release. The browser and Android builds are live now, and the developer says an iOS launch will follow. The Android client can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, and the studio plans further platform updates.
