FarmVille 3 launches kitten rescue event for Intl Cat Day

Zynga’s FarmVille 3 runs A Home For Every Kitten from Aug. 11 to Sept. 7, 2026, tying in-game kitten rescues and purchases to Dots.eco’s real-world cat rescue program.

Zynga announced that FarmVille 3 will run A Home For Every Kitten from Aug. 11 to Sept. 7, 2026, to mark International Cat Day and link player activity and purchases to Dots.eco’s Support Rescued Pets initiative. The event lasts four weeks and combines in-game kitten rescues with support for real-world cat rescue efforts.

During the event players will rescue kittens and upgrade a Rescue Base across four phases. Each successful kitten rescue grants a seven-day gameplay boost that affects elements such as production speed and storage capacity. The boosts apply while the event is active.

Players must clear areas, craft rescue equipment, complete regular farm tasks and collect resources to advance the Rescue Base. Progress requires Co-op Rescue Tokens and crafted items. Co-op members earn tokens together and can contribute items toward phase upgrades.

Upgrades to the Rescue Base unlock additional event content as the campaign progresses. The event design lets players make measurable progress on their farms while advancing the rescue phases.

A premium pass is offered for players who choose to purchase it. The pass provides instant phase completion, additional barn storage and extra gameplay boosts during the campaign period.

Purchases made during the event will support Dots.eco’s Support Rescued Pets initiative. Dots.eco is registered as a Public Benefit Corporation. The organization will issue 5,000 official participation certificates to players who take part in the event, and three certificate holders will be selected at random for a feature on the FarmVille 3 website.

FarmVille 3 is a mobile farming simulator that runs themed, limited-time events. A Home For Every Kitten pairs in-game objectives and purchasable items with a fundraising component tied to a registered pet rescue program.
