FiveM support arrives for GTA V Enhanced

FiveM support for GTA V Enhanced has launched, allowing the FiveM multiplayer framework to run with the remastered PC edition of Grand Theft Auto V.
FiveM support for GTA V Enhanced has launched, restoring compatibility between community servers and the remastered game files for the PC accounts of Grand Theft Auto V.
The update lets the FiveM multiplayer modification framework operate with the Enhanced edition’s updated assets and technical changes. Server operators can now host custom multiplayer experiences while using the remastered game files.
FiveM is a third-party platform that enables custom multiplayer servers and scripting for GTA V on PC. The Enhanced edition introduced higher-resolution assets, lighting changes, and engine updates that previously prevented FiveM servers from connecting to remastered clients.

Server administrators must update their FiveM server tools and verify that custom content works with the remastered assets. Players who want to join those servers must run the same game version and the compatible FiveM client mod to connect.
Role-play, racing, freeroam and other community servers are likely to migrate to the Enhanced edition while keeping existing mods, scripts and player economies intact. Modders can test and adapt assets to take advantage of the Enhanced edition’s textures and performance improvements.
Technical work for the update included reconciling file formats, asset paths and engine-level differences so server code and client modifications function correctly with the remastered files.
FiveM remains a PC-focused project and requires matching client and server setups. Operators and players should follow the installation notes and patch instructions published by the FiveM project. Coordinated updates across a server’s player base are recommended to avoid connection issues and instability.
