Noodlecake has opened pre-registration for Flick Shot Rogues, a turn-based roguelike developed by Butter By The Fish for Android and iOS. The App Store lists a Sept. 16, 2026 release date.

Players move a single character by flicking them across small combat arenas. Each turn requires lining up a flick to send the character into enemies, using momentum and positioning to connect attacks and trigger combos. Encounters take place across an island made up of rooms; enemies and rewards are respawned and reshuffled after each death, requiring players to change approach between runs.

Progression comes through unlocking additional characters, collecting items and learning skills and talents. Some items and talents alter how the character moves or attacks. The game also includes curses that apply negative effects; those curses can interact with items and talents to create different run outcomes.

Noodlecake says players can try the opening section for free and then unlock the full game with a one-time purchase. The developer and publisher state the game will not include ads. Pre-registration is available now on Google Play and the App Store, where the listed release date is Sept. 16, 2026.

Butter By The Fish is credited as the developer and is described by its publisher as an award-winning indie studio. The title uses a physical flicking control as its primary input and centers combat around positioning and shot precision.
