FNAC lists GTA 6 prices in Portugal; likely placeholders

FNAC briefly posted GTA 6 prices from €89.99–€199.99 for Nov. 19, 2026; leaker billbil-kun noted SKUs and EAN codes point to placeholders.
Portuguese retailer FNAC briefly posted multiple listings for Grand Theft Auto 6 showing prices from €89.99 to €199.99 and a release date of Nov. 19, 2026. The entries covered PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S editions.
Leaker billbil-kun examined the retailer pages and flagged the SKUs and EAN codes as inconsistent with Take-Two Interactive’s usual product prefixes, concluding the entries are placeholders. EAN codes are the European equivalent of UPC barcodes and often include publisher-specific prefixes.
Retailer websites frequently use temporary back-end entries to reserve space for upcoming products. Those entries can display provisional prices or generic SKUs until a publisher provides final product data.
Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have not released official retail prices for GTA 6. Publishers normally announce pricing and open pre-orders after supplying final product information.
Industry analysts have discussed whether GTA 6 could retail above the common $70 price for premium titles, citing the game’s reported scale and technical ambition. Other analysts have questioned consumer acceptance of a higher price for a largely single-player release.
Previously, Take-Two CEO reconfirmed the GTA 6 release date for Nov. 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. FNAC’s listings may be updated or removed when publishers submit official data; official prices will arrive with a publisher confirmation or a pre-order launch.
